Florian holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Economics.
He worked as Managing Director Engines & Power EMEA Briggs & Stratton, and earlier, he worked in leading commercial roles at Stanley Black & Decker.
Florian has been appointed Global VP Sales & Marketing at Munksjö as of 1st July 2023.
As an executive management team member, Florian drives Munksjö’s growth agenda, focusing on innovations for a sustainable everyday life.

Hugo holds a Master’s in Chemistry as well as a PhD in Materials Science in the field of nanomaterials formulation and surface treatment for packaging applications. With this strong technical background, Hugo started working for today’s Munksjö group in 2021, originally in an R&D position, coordinating and managing innovations projects related to Decor & Pre-Impregnated Papers. In 2023, he evolved in a Sustainability Manager position to support the company’s growing efforts on Sustainability & ESG topics globally.
Nicolas Simonnet

After receiving his Master’s in Paper Engineering, Nicolas started his career working in the paper industry by leading production units, driving process improvements, and a variety of development projects. In 2007, he joined what is now the Munksjo Group, eventually becoming the Technical Customer Service Director for Décor Paper, leading a team providing global technical support to its customers. Most recently, Nicolas received a Global Executive MBA and since Oct 1, 2022 has also taken management responsibility for the French entities of Munksjo – Arches paper mill and Apprieu R&D Center.

After receiving his Master’s in Marketing and International Business, Sébastien Alainé began his career in 1995 in the automotive battery sector. In 2002, he transitioned to the paper industry, joining Arjowiggins as Marketing Manager. In 2008, Sébastien was promoted to Marketing Director for the decor paper business at Ahlstrom-Munksjö. He redefined marketing positioning and contributed to significantly promote the solid color offering.
Since 2022, Sébastien has served as the Head of Marketing, Communication & Design at Munksjö. He oversees the Central Color Laboratory, drives the company’s brand and communication strategy, and leads Munksjö’s marketing activities. His passion for paper, design and innovation contribute to highlighting and differentiating Munksjö’s unique competitive edges in solid colors and pre-impregnated foil-based papers.
Ingrida Pachowiak

Graduate of the faculty of economy of Vilnius University, Ingrida profiled herself in technical sales of furniture materials and obtained extensive knowledge in materials and technologies of woodworking industry and furniture manufacturing in different European countries. After further career steps in technical sales and product management in décor printing and foil lacquering companies she joined Ahlstrom-Munksjö (now Munksjö) in 2019 in a position of technical customer service manager specializing on pre-impregnated papers.

Bernhard is graduate engineer in chemistry with a thesis in instrumental analytics. He started his career as laboratory manager in 1989 in the paper industry and joined Munksjö Dettingen 2000 in a function as technical customer service manager. He supported the team in Dettingen to become the market leader for pre-impregnated papers.

After completing his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and postgraduate degree in business engineering, Daniel Toppel worked for almost 30 years in the surface and coating industry at key industrial players for industrial adhesive tapes, healthcare printing, industrial adhesives and adhesive films as well as water-based printing inks.
Over the course of his career, he has held various positions first as Laboratory Manager and later Process Engineering, Operations, Sales & Marketing, Managing Director and Business Developments.
In August 2020, he joined ARCOLOR as Head of Sales & Marketing, where he is responsible for the range of water-based printing inks for applications in rotogravure décor printing as well as for industrial digital printing.

Bernd started his journey at KNEHO-LACKE in 2011 and he is now responsible for marketing and sales. As a wood engineer with a solid background of production technologies he became specialized in the UV-coating sector, focusing primarily on product development and the application of industrial coating processes.

Developing wood based materials & furniture and supporting the product development process with material knowledge.
